I have worked in health and social care for 41 years. I began my career as a care worker before training as a nurse, the past 15 years have been in senior management roles overseeing nursing homes and complex care in the community. I am incredibly passionate about providing high-quality care, ensuring those in my care are treated with dignity and the respect they deserve.
Previously our Receptionist at Sandmere, Emma has recently been promoted to Business Administrator. Emma had done a fantastic job in ensuring residents, relatives & visitors feel welcome at Sandmere as well as supporting management and staff members with their admin needs. Emma is looking forward to starting this new job role and says she will always make time for a catch up with residents as well as offering them tea’s and coffees.
My name is Olivera, I am a qualified Occupational Therapist with experience working in mental health, acute hospitals and care settings. I am here to ensure all our residents are able to participate in meaningful activities, that all aspects of their wellbeing are being considered and that Sandmere is a joyful place to be. Paul joins us as Head of Maintenance having worked in a similar role over the last past 5 years. He has previously worked as a fire fighter and in the Middle East, training individuals on oil rigs.
Mark has worked for 30+ years in the catering industry, classically trained with experience in many well-respected establishments, as well as being privileged to have worked in different countries around the globe.
He is super excited to share his professional experience and culinary skills at Sandmere.
