Coffee

Café

At Sandmere Care Home, we have a café where our residents can receive regular treats and unlimited hot drinks, all cooked and served by our team. Our café is a place full of tranquillity, encouraging our residents to relax, get lost in their books and/or newspapers, and allowing them to catch up with other residents or loved ones.

It’s important that we can provide our residents with areas in which they feel comfortable; it’s a priority of ours and we want to ensure you we’re able to achieve this with all of our facilitates, not just our café. Our café is one of our most popular facilities and we can see why, especially due to the communal feel which it provides.

Enjoy Delicious Drinks With Your Loved Ones

Our café provides a place for relaxation as well as socialisation and we have a café team who are on hand to bring our residents unlimited tea, coffee, hot chocolates and sweet treats whenever they may need it. This communal area allows our residents to spend quality time with their loved ones. We’re also able to provide afternoon tea, which is offered on a regular basis; it’s a light meal to enjoy with friends or family members, whether it’s a special occasion or just because it’s something you enjoy doing together.

Social Dining Areas

Although our home has a designated dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it doesn’t stop our residents from visiting our café for a mid-afternoon snack, a hot cuppa or even a cheeky tipple of their choice. We’re lucky to have a café where residents can also enjoy a glass of Prosecco or a beer.

Overall, we encourage our residents to use this space however they wish to, from reading the paper to playing card games, everyone is welcome.
