Keeping Active & Having Fun Together At Snelling

Our residents at Snelling enjoyed a fun ball exercise session led by our energetic Activities Assistant, Donna. The session gave residents an opportunity to take part in gentle movement while enjoying time together.

The simple activity encouraged participation and created a positive atmosphere, with everyone enjoying the chance to get involved. It was a lovely opportunity for residents to enjoy some movement in a relaxed and social setting.

Activities like this can be a great way to bring movement into everyday life at Snelling. Staying active does not have to mean strenuous exercise. Gentle activities can give residents an enjoyable opportunity to move, take part and spend time with others.

Research shows that staying active in care homes can play an important role in supporting the wellbeing of older people. At Sandmere, we are pleased to provide residents with opportunities to take part in enjoyable physical activities. Group sessions can also encourage social interaction, giving residents the chance to spend time together while keeping active.

We are always pleased to see residents getting involved and enjoying activities together.
